After several snafus that threatened the test launch, the newest rocket from NASA, Ares I-X, will be tested on a launch to happen next Tuesday, October 27, 2009, from the Kennedy Space Center. Hey the space shuttle got off the deck today! YEAH! every successful launch is a happy one. A bunch of stuff fell off it tho bummer (we call it FOD in the business, Foriegn Object Debris or Damage) so they'll have to do a super good inspection when they get to the station.
