That's a different article than the one I have. Also, I didn't remember it was the British table tennis team until reading it in your article. Nice one!

How appropriate to spread peace through the music of the Moodies - and what a wonderful choice (Doesn't the plaque say "We came in peace for all mankind" on the base of the Apollo 11 LEM that remained behind on the moon?)

I remember having an article somewhere in my collection about TOCCC being the first rock album allowed into Red China - it was taken into the country by our table tennis team.

interesting (thank you for sharing it.......) they talked about this stuff in the Question of Balance songbook too, like affecting emotions and doing weird things with sound. In Dune, they talked about the "weirding device" so I guess the Moodies were into that sort of thing too.

No telling where that technology has gone. I think the Russians are secretly aiming sound waves at us to screw us up.

What a wonderful article. But I disagree with Pinder a bit (pretty nervy, huh?): I do think their music is "mind music." It provokes thought and introspection (and therefore probably over-interpretation at times as well).
