One is No More Lies, another is Foolish Love and most recently On the Road to Love from the solo album.
If you are a songwriter, you must feel like this is a master class on composing: here is how to do an intro, here is where the guitar solo goes, here is how to build a story from the lyrics...
I will take issue with this verse in No More Lies though:
Well truth is my addiction
Stranger still than fiction
Wider than the sky
And songs that have such feeling
Words that have such meaning
Dreams that never die
If there is a competition between the ideals of Truth and Beauty, I have to assign Justin to the Beauty team :)

No, it was my younger daughter who came to the concert with me. My older daughter (the one who wrote out all of the lyrics to Deep in 4th grade) dropped us off at the venue in Portland (the two of them lived together until about a week ago--now the older daughter has found her own place about 5 minutes away from the younger daughter)

JimNorCal wrote:This is a small thing, but it is interesting to me that the lyric is "Want to be with you" not "I want to be with you".
Hey, it's only one word but saying "want to be with you" makes me think of a small child speaking. It shows a higher degree of emotional vulnerability. Which in turn makes the emotional impact of the song a bit stronger.
Another thing which I like about this song is the way Justin and John hand the lead vocals back and forth.

What a duffus I was to miss that one! Thank you for reminding me. See how good it is to discuss this music? Discussing it makes you really remember just why you love this band so much.
