Justin remarks that he is living in a flat/apartment now and prefers a place that has a view of the western sky, hence the album title.
I had heard that quote before, and was wondering what was going on. Is he poor? Or voluntarily pure? :)

There was a live version of some of the songs from the solo album on YouTube where Justin talks a bit. It was hard to hear but I think he said he had cut back on materialism in his life and was living more simply and getting rid of some of the boxes of possessions that tend to accumulate.
There is a line in the solo album about castles, too, which I can't recall right now but has the flavor of commenting on how adulthood and material comfort can separate us from a clear and vibrant experience of life.

Does anyone know more about this general topic?
