At least, in hurricane country, they have the mindset of greeting hurricanes with hurricane parties. LOL! Jimmy Buffet must be proud of that tradition!

This is so true...home is where the heart is...you cannot escape any of those acts of God...So really you have to deal with it and move forward.

Hey I can attest to those Hurricane parties...to me if it weren't for the water, I'd stay for every Hurricane. To go outside and see the trees sway from side to side, eerie skies and to feel the wind....its all quite an andreneline rush....and no different than those who chase tornadoes.

Of course if one stays...you better have plenty of water, food and a generator and fuel for it.
