I agree, to the extent that if fan advocacy becomes the basis of admission into the HoF, it's just as meaningless as admission is now, being so politically based.  And I also believe Justin when he says that being European, the American Hall of Fame just isn't that important to the band. 

On the other hand, when you look at the performers who have been inducted (many who are indeed very talented and influential and deserve to be in there), there are also so many that have been inducted who are so undeserving of the honor that it has made the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a virtual joke. 

And most of all, it has been the fact that certain people involved in the selection process have publicly stated that they will never consider the Moody Blues for induction that has been so insulting to us fans.  So jolly good for Mr. Weintraub--I hope he is successful in his determination to get the Moody Blues inducted.
