Mike was HUGE in shaping the sound of the MB's and I don't know where the band would be w/o his signature sound and mental aesthetic.
Re: the photo up on the petition, perhaps you could write directly to Lisa Fell, oops, Ellis, who appears to be the originator of the petition. Maybe the actual petition was what she was focused on when putting the petition together and the stock photo, was not as important. She might be open to changing it.
If the Moodies ever are inducted, I would expect Mike and Ray to be present.
But then I wonder where Denny Laine and Clint Warwick would figure into the issue? And even Patrick Moraz.
They were all official band members at one time or another.
Thoughts anyone?
I admit to rarely getting involved in RRHOF discussions but the subject comes up pretty regularly and is always a topic for varied, interesting commentary.


I'm guessing Denny Laine would be included, but Clint Warwick has passed on.  Patrick was the first 'side man' and not an official member--check out the names at the bottom of the Threshold stationery from 1975 and 1984:
