Yeppers, that song was done by Dennis Yost and the Classics Four... Who later morphed into a really great group known as the Atlanta Rhythm Section, didja know? I loved the song "Spooky" as done by both band incarnations... As well as "Stormy" as done by the C-4 (wait, that's an explosive, isn't it?).

Oh, and here's a Moody-connect: Shaun Williams -- lead singer for the Atlanta Rhythm Section, whom I'd always thought had a kind of Hayward-esque voice -- was later recruited to record NIWS for that often questionable album "Justin Hayward and Friends," that came out of Germany some years back. Shaun did a decent cover of "Nights" but nobody does it better than the author.
