And she may well be right! So - looking ahead I thought I needed a challenge. I've really started to enjoy my cycling again and have had a brainwave...riding the length of Great Britain! I'm not unique in doing this and many before me have completed the ride. But at 69 years of age (on Friday), with one shoulder joint full of plastic and metal and the other quite arthritic I reckon it's now or never! I'm aiming to ride about 1000 miles in about two weeks totally unsupported. No back-up team just the bike and I. I then decided that a worthy cause should benefit from my efforts and so Help for Heroes came to mind. Have a look here for more info and then please tell me I'm not crazy! http://www.bmycharity.com/JoeQuinn
Unless, of course, you think I am!
Best wishes from Bonnie Scotland,
