DreamerJesse told me last night he thought that photo looked like a 50's hairstyle.
I saw the 'hairstyle malfunctions' as they were happening and I actually tried to photograph around them, not deliberately catching the worst moments. But there were constant gusts that caused unexpected results, and I did get a lot more blurry photos than ever before when people moved (or was that my freezing fingers shaking???). But the Moodies are pros and they played on through it all!
I've got just over 400 more photos left to work on...more coming later today! Does anyone else out there have pics from the Scottsdale show to post?????

I liked the pre-shows photos a lot! It's fun trying to do a 'picture documentary'.
I don't favor either gender when I'm taking photos - preferring to find whomever is looking the most interesting at the moment - and so a couple of my favorite early shots are of Julie. We're used to seeing her confident, exotic rock-glam persona with the stage makeup and striking hair. In these photos don't you think she looks really young (and even a bit fragile)? I think she's quite photogenic with either look because her expressions come through clearly - and it's fun for a photographer to find these moments.

First Wolfman Graeme appeared; next came John the Friendly Ghost.
