Star Wars fans across the globe are in a frenzy after the release of the latest and final trailer for the highly anticipated film "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" that opens in December.
In the United States, the trailer debuted on television during
halftime of a National Football League game Monday night while across
the world fans rushed to view the trailer online. As of Tuesday morning,
it had more than 9.5 million views on YouTube.
Although the latest installment of the Star Wars series is opening some
two months from now, tickets have already gone on sale online. Some
ticketing sites, like Fandango, crashed amid the demand to get tickets.
The latest trailer for the new movie doesn't reveal much about the plot. It features a new villain, Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver as well as original Star Wars character Han Solo, played by Harrison Ford and Princess Leia, played by Carrie Fisher.
At one point, a character named Rey, played by Daisy Ridley, is heard asking "There were stories about what happened." “It’s true. All of it. The Dark Side. The Jedi. They’re real,” responds Han Solo.
