After the success of John’s first ever solo tour in the UK this September, we are delighted to announce that John Lodge and his 10,000 Light Years Band will be performing on Cruise to the Edge this coming February 7-11, 2017. This is the only opportunity in 2017 for fans to see Moody Blue’s Legend,John Lodge and his mates “live” in the US...come join us!
John Lodge will be joined on stage by his 10,000 Light Years Band which includes Alan Hewitt on keys (from the Moody Blues), Norda Mullen on flute (from the Moody Blues), drummer Gordon Marshall (formerly Moody Blues), Duffy King on guitar and Jared Burnett on six string violin.
The band has been carefully assembled for this exclusive North American musical experience and is a “must see” for all fans of The Moody Fans and Progressive Rock. Together they will be creating an amazing sound that will bring John’s solo album, 10,000 Light Years Ago, and his songs from The Moody Blues to life in a way fans have never before experienced.
John and his band will be performing his hits from The Moody Blues, such as Ride
My See-Saw, Candle of Life, Isn’t Life Strange, I’m Just a Singer (In a
Rock and Roll Band), Steppin’ In a Slide Zone, Peak Hour a treat or two from Blue Jays, and songs from his critically acclaimed solo album, 10,000 Light Years Ago, including In My Mind, plus much, much more!
As you know, John and the Moodies have headlined their own
cruise for several years and now he is coming aboard Cruise to the Edge to perform some of his finest original material, as well as some new music that has been critically acclaimed by many Progressive Rock aficionados. In fact, this iconic musician was nominated in the Anthem of the Year category of the 2015 Prog Magazine Awards.
