I used to do dog/horse training, Judge, teach Classical Riding and just generally love being out of doors. I blame Ray Thomas for my love of the flute which I've played for many years but I never knew until I heard DOFP there was anything other than Classical stuff to play. I learned every flute part on every CD/Album off by heart and it's just my favourite instrument.
Am single, no family of my own just the one I was born into and they're all nuts!! I'm from the UK so I hope there are more out there from the UK.
Whatever else you want to know, just ask. Glad to be here and thanks to Moody Jill for letting me be on the board.
Archivist and Board Owner
Hi Sammy4. Yes, we do have some other members from the UK and are happy to see another one!Yes, this is a large board and people have been known to get lost in the archives for hours. If you need any help finding your way around, let us know. Jill has been doing a great job featuring news and a variety of interests on the main page, so if you follow them you will eventually find your way into most of the forums. Everyone very friendly and polite here, so I hope you'll feel right at home!TaranP.S. like Jill, I discovered the flute "later" and have played a bit by ear off and on. Visions of Paradise was the MB first song I got through (pretty easy since it's kind of a 'scale').

I owe this to a wonderful young lady who's knowledge and enthusiasm for the Moody boys is impressive, inspiring and was a bit surprising as I was unaware of the cross-generational draw of the band. Justin's solo performances, John and Justin's collaboration on the Blue Jays album and the whole library of the Moody Blues band has brought me into a state of musical ecstasy I have rarely experienced. Also, I attended a MB concert in Woodinville, Washington as my first live exposure to their performances and was blown away. The music was excellent, the band members were magnetic and the vibes among the audience was surreal. I am officially a huge fan and would love to dig into all things Moody Blues -Moody Blues Attitude is a wonderful discovery and tool for this. I'm looking forward to all of your input here. So, hello again and welcome to you all as well. Peace and love my friends. -JustinH
