Actually, I play a lot of poker these days, since I discovered the game two years ago. It's a natural progression from my love of mathematics. I don't listen to much music anymore, really. The Moody Blues are my all time favorite band. These days, Counting Crows are still my fave. Old timers here (not actually here, really) might remember me as Beefy. I have no idea who most of you guys are, really, but that's cool, because you don't know me either. Hope all is well. I'm alive and well in NE Ohio.
Stu wrote:OK, perhaps I have given you the wrong impression. While I am a poker player these days, I am a WINNING poker player, so it's not really a PROBLEM. In fact, I'm having a really good time at it and enjoy it more than listening to music. If I were a losing player, I would probably quit, or play cheaply for the entertainment value. You're sweet to be concerned about my well being, tho. Thanks. I'll probably stop by again in a year or so, God willing. Take care everyone.

I never really got into this particular group, guess I was too young in the 60s, now my kids are in their 20s 30s so here I be. About me that nobody knows.. noone can say nor I. I just love all music.. other than rap or other noise that I don't consider music per se. Celtic of course is a fav. Try Anuna if you haven't. They are the Irish National Choir.

Welcome to the board Alyssa! Like you I became a Moodies fan in the early 70s and then lost touch with them for a number of years. And like you it took me a little while to discover the on-line fan sites. I hope you're going to enjoy MBA and I'm happy you have joined us!
