From what I can tell, this is a favorite topic with Moodies, Justin was running around with an eagle shirt, John is alleged to carry an eagle feather with him
on tour........ etc etc....... (their tour bus used to have an eagle on the back)
Where I live is eagle country, and they aren't an every day thing, but we encounter them enough. There's a nest in easy walking distance of my home. Today it was cold, misty rainy when I got home, and as I stepped out of my car I heard fluting eagle music. It's very pretty, not like the usual "scream" you hear on the telly with eagles. They have a funny chittering fluting piping musical way of talking. So I looked, and of course couldn't find the bird (they hide very well........) and something made me starting whistling CSN's song about sailing (now I'm going bananas I can't remember the tune!) anyway I was checking the mail, and I think the eagle was answering me! Very funny! They are neat birds, social with their own kind. One of these days I'll perfect an eagle whistle. Native Americans used to do it with bone whistles.
