Moody Blues announce Canadian concerts

LOS ANGELES, June 21 (UPI) -- The Moody Blues say they are planning their first cross-Canadian fall tour in more than a decade.
The show, called "Precious Cargo," is to play in 16 markets around the country, starting Sept. 15 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and wrapping up Oct. 8 in Victoria, British Columbia, Universal Music Enterprises said in a news release Monday.
The group will be touring in support of their new upcoming greatest hits collection, which will be released in two editions July 19.
The latest Icon series releases -- available in single disc and double disc formats -- will include The Moody Blues' hits and fan favorites from their 14 studio albums that have spanned more than 35 years.
Among the band's hits are "Nights in White Satin," "Tuesday Afternoon [Forever Afternoon,]" "Ride My See-Saw," "Question," "The Story in Your Eyes," "Isn't Life Strange," "I'm Just a Singer [In a Rock and Roll Band,]" "Gemini Dream," "The Voice," "Your Wildest Dreams" and "I Know You're Out There Somewhere."
