Rockers Moody Blues bringing tour to Regina
The Moody Blues have some precious cargo and have decided to bring it to Regina.
The classic rock legends announced Monday that their Precious Cargo tour, with seven Canadian dates, will be stopping at the Conexus Arts Centre on Oct. 2.
Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Tickets will range in price from $65 to $85 (plus applicable fees and service charges) and will be available at the Conexus Arts Centre box office, all CBO locations, by telephone (525-9999 or 1-800-667-8497) and online (www. conexusartscentre.ca).
Formed in 1964 in Birmingham, England, The Moody Blues have sold 70 million albums worldwide, powered by hit singles like Knights In White Satin, I Know You're Out There Somewhere and Your Wildest Dreams. The current lineup of the band features the three remaining original members - Graeme Edge (drums, percussion), John Lodge (vocals, guitar) and Justin Hayward (vocals, guitar and keyboards).
In addition to the Regina date, the Canadian leg of the tour includes stops in Halifax (Sept. 15), Moncton (Sept. 16), Quebec City (Sept. 18), Kingston, Ont. (Sept. 21), Ottawa (Sept. 22) and Kamloops, B.C. (Oct. 5).
